Entry Requirements: 14 credits at Level 1 Te Reo Maori, or at Head of Learning's discretion.
A range of themes and skills will be practised through listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Maori. The following topics will be covered: Oku wawata, He Huihuinga, Tangata Autaia and Nga Purakau Rongonui. Students are required to have three or more years’ experience in Maori language.
This course will be offered via Te Kura and offers up to 30 NCEA Level 2 credits.

University Entrance Literacy:
Up to 6 University Entrance Reading credits
Up to12 University Entrance Writing credits
