Entry Requirements: 14 credits at NCEA Level 2 Te Reo Maori, or at Head of Learning's discretion.
Course Outline:
A range of themes and skills will be practised and extended through listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Maori.
The following topics will be covered:
He Mahi Whakangungu, Nga Waihanga Tuhinga, Nga Ahuatanga Whakarongo and Nga Ahuatanga Korero.
This level of Maori requires a wide range of vocabulary and grammar skills.
This course will be offered via Te Kura and offers up to 30 NCEA Level 3 credits.

Costs: It is an advantage to have your own Maori-English, English-Maori dictionary.
