Entry Requirements: 14 credits at NCEA Level 2 English, or at Head of Learning's discretion.
Course Outline:
This course exposes students to critical thematic analysis in order to develop discriminating, insightful understanding of ideas, how and for what purpose they are conveyed. Students are required to be sophisticated and precise in their responses to a range of challenging texts.

- Total credits - up to 22
