What is Tapuwae

A specifically designed experience for WCS Year 10s hosted at Makahika, an Outdoor Pursuit Centre in Levin. The programme offers Year 10s the opportunity to get out of their comfort zone and reflect on their Tapuwae through 8 days of cooking, bush survival, white water rafting and environmental action like trapping, recording and planting.

All participating students will obtain their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh, build strong year group relationships and will demonstrate the Round Square IDEALS and Discovery Framework through the Tapuwae programme.
