St George's School
The former Marris and Porritt houses have been seismically upgraded and refurbished to create the new St George’s campus.
The former dayroom and study areas have been converted into four classrooms and the front of the building has been demolished to make way for administration, a library, additional classroom and staffroom.
St George’s was formally opened in January 2017 by Mr Martin Gray (Chairman of the Whanganui College Board of Trustees) and Mr Richard Redmayne (Former Whanganui College Board of Trustees Board Member).
